For clinics

Compounded medications and office stock for your clinic, in one place.

Weight-management, women’s health, men’s health, medspa, wellness and IV clinics order compounded prescriptions from licensed 503A pharmacies and, once the account holds the program, office stock from 503B outsourcing facilities. Medspas, wellness clinics and IV clinics use TrueRoute to see what they can order and what it costs, sign patient prescriptions, buy practice stock, order labs, and follow every order in one list. We set it up with you; you can start with one prescriber.

  • A role for each person. Prescribers, staff, billing and administrators.
  • Start small. One prescriber is enough to begin.
  • Your price, before you order. Every item, every time.

At a glance.

Medspas, wellness and IV clinics.

  • Order prescriptions, practice stock and labs from one catalog
  • Start with one prescriber and add your team when you are ready
  • We set it up with you, in a call, not a project

What your clinic can order.

Medications by therapy area, each at your account’s price for the ship-to state, with shipping shown before you order. Your prescriber decides what is right for each patient.

  • Weight management

GLP-1 prescriptions: compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide for a named patient, from licensed 503A pharmacies. Metformin and ondansetron too.

  • Hormone therapy

Estradiol and progesterone for women’s health, menopause and hormone practices.

  • Sexual wellness and hair

Sildenafil, tadalafil, finasteride and minoxidil. Non-controlled medications only.

  • Vitamins, nutrients and injectables

NAD+, glutathione, vitamin B12 and sermorelin for medspa, wellness and IV programs.

  • Office stock (503B)

Practice stock from an outsourcing facility, bought as a purchase order with no patient attached, once your account holds the program.

  • Physician use

Items sold under their own physician-use program and labelling, ordered from their own door once your account holds the program.

What the work looks like in TrueRoute.

A day in a clinic, in the order it happens.

  1. 1

    Before an appointment

A medical assistant searches the catalog for the patient’s ship-to state and sees your account’s price for each item, the shipping options, and a plain reason when an item cannot be ordered there.

  2. 2

    During the visit

The prescription is prepared with the patient, product and quantity, then the prescriber reviews the complete prescription and its total and signs it under their own NPI and state licensure.

  3. 3

    Restocking

An administrator orders office-use stock for an approved delivery location: quantities, quantity pricing, a firm total with shipping, and payment in the same screen. No patient and no prescription are involved.

  4. 4

    Afterwards

The order list shows what was sent, what shipped and what needs attention, with tracking and a reason when an order stops. Operators handle exceptions with you.

Prescriptions and purchases, kept apart.

Which paths your account uses depends on the programs set up for it during onboarding.

  • Patient-specific compounded (503A)

Written for a named patient and dispensed for that patient. The prescription carries every element a valid prescription requires and is frozen when it is signed.

  • Retail prescriptions

The everyday prescriptions a practice writes alongside its compounded work, on the same prescription screen. Each is a specific product, so the price is the price.

  • Office-use and bulk purchasing

Practice stock bought as a purchase order under your account’s enabled program, including 503B office use where supported. Office-use stock is not attached to a patient, and a patient prescription is never used as a way to buy it.

Office-use purchasing is set up once, then your team orders it themselves. Setup confirms the program, the ordering provider’s NPI and credentials, an approved delivery location with its licence, and the products and pricing for your account. After that, office-use orders are placed in TrueRoute like any other purchase.

Growing to more than one location?

We add new locations to the same organization as you open them. Each keeps its own team, patients and orders, and your group roles see across all of them.

TrueRoute for groups

A price you can check before you pay.

The catalog shows your account’s price for each item and lists what shipping adds; shipping and any order-level charges are added at checkout, before you pay. The prescription screen and the office-use quote each show the total you will be charged before you commit.

Your prescribers, under their own licences.

Prescriptions are written under your prescribers’ own NPI and state licensure. No TrueEval provider is ever enrolled at a pharmacy on your behalf.

What we check about a prescriber is exactly what we say: the NPI is validated and the clinic attests to the licence. We do not offer live licence verification.

Questions clinics ask.

  • Can we start with one prescriber?

Yes. We set TrueRoute up with you, and you can start with one prescriber, then add people, locations and programs as you grow.

  • What can my team order in TrueRoute?

Two kinds of order, on two separate paths: patient-specific prescriptions, compounded and retail, written for a named patient and signed by the prescriber; and office-use purchases of practice stock, with no patient attached.

Which paths your account uses depends on the programs set up for it.

    Both paths, step by step

  • Can a staff member prepare a prescription for the prescriber to sign?

Yes. A medical assistant can search the catalog and prepare the prescription with the patient, product and quantity. The prescriber then reviews the complete prescription and its total and signs it under their own NPI and state licensure.

  • Will TrueRoute switch to a different strength or package to lower the price?

No. TrueRoute never substitutes a different formulation, concentration, package size or route for price. The product on the prescription is the one your prescriber selected.

  • What medications can a clinic order through TrueRoute?

Clinics order across weight management, women’s health and menopause, men’s health, and medical spa wellness: compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, metformin and ondansetron; estradiol and progesterone; sildenafil, tadalafil, finasteride and minoxidil; and NAD+, glutathione, vitamin B12 and sermorelin.

Each is ordered as a patient prescription, and what your account can order, at your account’s price for the ship-to state, is set up with you.

  • How does TrueRoute check a prescriber?

What we claim about a prescriber is exactly what we do: NPI-validated and clinic-attested. We do not offer live license verification, and we do not describe it as something it is not.
